Small Granular / Prill Urea
Small Granular / Prill Urea is built up in layers around a seed particle inside a rotating drum or fluid-bed granulator, rather than falling through a prilling tower. This produces a denser, harder, and typically larger particle.
The granulation process gives the finished product greater mechanical strength and a more consistent particle-size distribution than prilling.
Granular urea generally falls in the same nitrogen-content range as prilled urea, but the guaranteed-content figure still depends on manufacturer testing. It’s the form most often specified for mechanized broadcast application and bulk vessel export, where particle durability over a long shipping route matters most.
